I am pleased to yet again welcome new members to the Rapid Host family! At 8:30pm EST Sunday May 18th, Rapid Host Web Services acquired gnomebaby.com and gnomebaby.co.uk and it's clients.
We are currently preparing account transfers which will be completely by the end of May. We expect no downtime for any sites, however if you encounter any errors or difficulty please email support@rapid-host.com to get it correctly immediately.
This is a very exciting time for all of us at Rapid Host because not only does this allow us to provide new services, but it also provides us with an established infastructure in the UK!
That's right, Rapid Host now has our very own UK server and we plan to start issueing UK accounts in the very near future.

I am pleased to welcome the newest members to the Rapid Host family! At 11:30pm EST Saturday May 10th, Rapid Host Web Services acquired hostnorth.ca and it's clients. This is a very exciting time for everyone and we hope our new clients feel at home and enjoy our service.
With that being said, all hostnorth.ca clients were transfered over between 9-10am EST, Sunday May 11th and the nameserver was updated at 10:05am.
We are hoping for very minimal downtime, however our biggest fear will be the time it takes the registar to update the nameserver. What can happen during this period is your domain will still point at the old server while not updating the new server. For this reason we will keep a second copy of your site up so any updates/forum post that happen between now and the update can be recovered.
We expect no longer then 48 hours for all the domains to update correctly.
All questions should be directed at our support staff at support [at] rapid-host.com.

Rapid Host is pleased to announce our account packages have been revamped!
Due to recent server upgrades and competitive pricing, we have been able to increase our bandwidth and disk space for all our shared and reseller accounts.
Rapid Host has experienced good growth over the last 6 months and future expansion is in the works.
As well, we are also pleased to announce that our billing/support integration is almost complete. Within the next few days we expect our entire knowledgebase to be transfered over.
